The Minnesota Armed Forces Hockey Tournament was established in 2014 as a way for Active, Prior Service, Retired, and Veteran military service memebers to gather together in comradeship. The tournament allows these players to celebrate their service and the game of hockey. The tournament promoter, United Heroes League, has a long historyof supporting military families ability to play the sport of ice hockey. By providing free gear and grants for youth league fees to military families, UHL is the leader throughout the military community.

Established in 2000, the Armed Services Hockey Association has been hosting military and veteran hockey tournaments around the country. The Memorial Day tournament will be held in Jacksonville, FL and we are planning on it being one of our best yet. For the first time ever, we will be showcasing a brand new jersey design, in memory of the friends we have lost. Each teammate will be wearing a jersey dedicated to a friend, teammate, or coworker that was lost during their service to our country or after.

This annual hockey tournament is a powerful catalyst for social change, uniting first responders, military members, and veterans for a weekend of camaraderie and competition. Through our dedicated fundraising efforts, we directly support mental health initiatives and other charitable causes.
